logging in

no matter what i do, coppermine won't allow me to sign in.
i know its the right password as i've checked the mysql databases, but yet it still will not let me sign in?
any clues as to whats wrong?

It could be cookies, it could be that there is s problem in the database causing your password to be corrupt or it could be that there has been too many failed logon attempts from your IP address.

In the case of too many failed logon attempts the default number is 5 with a ban time of 10 minutes. So try again later.

If all the above fails and you are the admin then search this board for lost admin password and it will tell you how to recover/reset it using a couple of different methods.
