make category public upload & create albums

hi,

i want users to be able to create albums in this category: http://www.psychedelic.be/coppermine/index.php?cat=40 , now i have to move their personal albums into the category ... and they may not be able to delete other albums, so *only* add photos (and delete their own)


you can set an album to public upload, but not a category ???

Non-admins can not create albums in public categories in cpg1.4.x
However, you have to upgrade your gallery: you're running cpg1.4.5, while the most stable release currently is cpg1.4.18, so you're running 13 versions behind. All versions before cpg1.4.18 contain severe security flaws that are actively being exploited. This is not a matter of taste - upgrading is a must.
