[Solved]: Upgraded with no problems, now can't log in
« on: July 19, 2008, 06:04:08 pm »

Hi,

I can't find that anyone has had this same problem. I upgraded to the latest mandatory version following your directions carefully. I had a successful upgrade yesterday and everything seemed to be working fine. Now, today, I cannot login. All I get is a red notice saying couldn't login. I have tried everything I have known in the past. I even went to the database and entered my password there to makesure everything was right. My browser is set to receive all cookies from the program.

When I ran the debug program, it states that on line 29 of login.php there is an undefined index: referer

I have never encountered this before and do not know where to look to fix it. I have read back through the documentation and have read through the support site and can't find a problem anyone has had that is similar.

I have always had good luck with your program and I would like to applaud you while I am here seeking your help. This
is the first time I haven't been able to fix the problem. My coppermine is located at http://alabama-family-connections.com/gallery/ .

Thank you,

I found the problem and maybe this will help others to see what can happen. Evidently, my server does not allow the 777 permissions. I did not think this was the problem because everything worked until I logged out and tried to log back in. I changed the permissions back to 755 and it is working fine.

But again, I would like to thank you very much for such a fine photo gallery. I do enjoy using it.
