After reading the problems caused by giving admin right i am scared to give even my friends admin rights but the same time i need their help , can i give them access only to "edit file information " for all albums

i would like to show only the button "edit file information" to the group i created , is this possible ?

There are two moderator mods available:

Both don't exactly do what you're up to, but there is no other mod to assign moderator privileges. Out of the box, coppermine can't do what you're up to. However, I can't see the point of moderators: you only have a few hundred pics - imo you don't need a moderator to cope with the amount of new uploads

Muller i dont want to let my friends upload too

, cos I trust them ( i trust they will missuse )

All i need is for a particular group that "edit file information" to appear

, i cant imagine others uploading contents

Hope there is a some work around , i am total noob on php
