I've been getting the above errors when trying to upload pics into my account since I reinstalled Coppermine.

I was originally getting the "File could not be placed" error, but after changing my settings as advised in the FAQ, I'm now getting this error:

The file 'albums/userpics/n734849482_529914_1216~3.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Unable to create thumbnail or reduced size image.

I've created a test account:

http://paramorefans.com/photos is the gallery
Username - test
Password - test

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks!

Your site was previously hacked, so you have to go through and check all your config settings as suggested in http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php/topic,51927.0.html. Make sure the settings related to resizing images are correct (ie. not set to 1 or similar).

That was exactly the problem - they were set to 1.  I reset it to 400 and it fixed the problem.

Thank you!
