Integration of existing phpBB and coppermine installs

Is it possible to integrate coppermine with phpBB without deleting either of the previous installs?  The applications use different databases on the same MySql server.

This is called bridging.  It is covered in detail in the Mods forum and in the /bridges directory of your Coppermine installation.

I figured I wasn't the first person who wanted to do that.  Thanks, I'll hit the documentation.
