[Solved]: Problem for users upload their pictures
« on: May 06, 2008, 06:25:00 pm »

Hi all,

I have just floated my gallery and I have upload some pictures as Admin.

http://gallery.iYaffle.com

Test users say that they are not able to upload the pictures in their album.

Even I tried creating a new user and uploading the pics to the album. I got "0 uploads were successful." message.

Test User name   : test
Test password     : test

Please help me with this issue.

Thanks in advance.

  • You're running cpg1.4.16, while the most recent stable release currently is cpg1.4.18. All versions before cpg1.4.18 contain serious security flaws that actively get exploited. Upgrade instantly as suggested in the docs!
  • You have failed to do as suggested: the group the test user account is in is supposed to have the number of file upload fields set to 1 (not 5) and the number of URI upload fields to zero (not three). You have as well failed to enable debug_mode. Read the docs throughly and do as suggested there (after having upgraded)

Not related to this thread - don't try to hijack other's threads. You can only edit php.ini if the server is yours to administer - if you're webhosted, you can't edit it. To find out where php.ini is located, take a look at the output of phpinfo.php - the path to php.ini is mentioned there.

Guys,

I have upgraded to 1.4.18.

Now I am able to see that my users are able to upload pics, after doing some changes as suggested.

Thanks for your help.
