Author Topic: [Solved]: Install completes, cannot login, tables, but no user in database  (Read 2923 times)

The installer runs and gives the error:

"Warning: fread(): Length parameter must be greater than 0. in e:\hosting\member\kelement\photos\install.php on line 462"

Then: "Coppermine is now properly configured and ready to roll.

Login using the information you provided for your admin account. Do not hit back, do not re-submit the installer form!

Your server supports the following image package(s): GD Library version 1.x (gd1), GD Library version 2.x (gd2), the installer selected 'gd2'."


After this I cannot login. I have ran and reran the installer, re-uploaded all the files, double checked the database user permissions. All the tables are in the database, but there is no user in the user table. I'm guessing there should be one there after install.php runs.

If there is no easy solution to this, it would be great if someone could give me a valid set of data to manually enter a user in the db and see if it works.

For the benefit of others with similar issues you should have posted what you actually did to solve your issues and not just post "nevermind" ::)
