Upgrading to 1.4.18 from 1.4.16
« on: April 26, 2008, 10:59:30 am »

I followed the instructions on the upgrade.  After upgrading,  I ran the version check and the following errors are shown:

a.  Anycontent.php    - current version is 1.4.16.   This is highlighted in red colour and the help says I have to upgrade this file.  But according to the upgrade document,  I am supposed to copy out my previous anycontent.php and make sure that the file is not overwritten by the new version.   So,  should I do anything about this?

b.  In the summary section,  it is stated that I have 1 file left over from the older version of Coppermine.  What file is this and should I remove it?  This is highlighted in red also.

Both questions have been asked and answered many times over. Surprisingly,. if you don't replace the old version of anycontent.php, the old version remains, which won't hurt. Not related to install, moving accordingly.
