User Galleries and Into Specific Categories?

I am wondering is there a way that when a user uploads a picture it will go straight into his user gallery and into a different category he/she selects?

How I have the Photo Gallery setup is this way:

I have User Galleries and a "Specific Category" category.

The specific category has 14 seperate albums such as "nature", "landscape", "portraits" and so on.

How would I modify the Photo gallery so that the user just picks a specific album in the "specific category" but the picture is in his user gallery?

This is something that is in the pipeline for the future (not that far away I think).  Tarique is developing this so one pic can be in more than one album.

Only by uploading the pic twice, which doubles the space used.

but if a user uploads twice, they still won't be able to delete the picture in the specific categories if it is not in their User Gallery.....man do I need this fix/modification quick  :shock:

casper, I don't see the mod that Tarique was supposed to be working on in the 1.3 changelog...any news on this option?

I didn't say it would be in 1.3, I said Tarique is working on it, and hopes to have it done soon.  I'm sure as soon as it's ready, he will release it, but the developers have been busy getting 1.3 ready lately.

Ok sounds good.  I misunderstood you.  I thought you meant it will be in version 1.3
