Coppermine Install Help
« on: March 05, 2008, 11:20:15 pm »

Ok, I have followed all the instructions and all but I am still lost to some extent.
Well I have transfered all the files to my host.
HOST: ixwebhostin.com
And I changed the "album" and the "include" folder permissions to "777".
But now here is where I get lost. It says in the document I was reading to either go to "MySQL" or "phpMyAdmin" I think the names are right. To make a database and to install well I get lost here. So Any information would help me  out. Thanks,

Coppermine doesn't have tutorials how to set up your mySQL account, as this depends on your webserver setup (i.e. your webhost). I guess you have asked them the wrong question: you mustn't ask them "how do I set up up coppermine?", but "how do I set up a mysql account?" or "what's my mysql access data?".

I looked at your webhost, and if you have the cheapest package, you don't have mysql access.
