[Solved]: Quicky Question B4 Install
« on: March 02, 2008, 06:04:25 pm »

Just wanted to determine if this is an application that visitors to my site could use to upload their own / have their own albums. In other words, can it be like a discussion board, but for site visitors and their pics?

Thanks in advance,
Sean

I don't know exactly what you want, but discussions can only happen via comments on pictures.
Users can have their albums.

Thanks and sorry for the confusing question.

I don't care about users having discussions within this program. I just want to make sure it's something I can piggy-back on my site and users can run their own show / account uploading pics, etc. I don't want to have picture submissions that I've got to create albums for. Do you have or know of any sites that might be using it this way that I can check out?

Thanks Again

Get the coppermine live-demo from our downloads section. It is meant to give you a preview of coppermine without the need to actually install it.
Yes, you can configure coppermine to allow users to create albums within their user gallery and upload pics there.
