[Invalid]: Messed up bridging with PhpBB3
« on: February 27, 2008, 07:49:43 pm »

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpbb3:
"Fatal Error:" (otherwise blank Screen)
I downloaded a phpbb3 bridge file from this forum, i don't know if this one should work or not, but the links given in the readme thread to download "official" versions doesn't work, or i am too dumb to find the files.
I obviously tried a wrong file first, so i think i will have to change the entries in the DB - the bridgemgr.php doesn't help.

Coppermine install: http://www.head-first.de/galerie/
Forum install: http://www.head-first.de/forum/
Coppermine version: 1.4.14 (stable)
Forum version: PHPBB3 3.0.0 (stable)
Test user account: Test / test (only in the gallery - if you need one for the forum, let mee know)

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  ../forum/
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  0
Cookie name/preifx (if applicable): phpbb3_5ag7k

Database Entries in the galerie_bridge category:
short_name      phpbb3
full_forum_url   http://www.head-first.de/forum
relative_path_to_config_file   ../forum/
cookie_prefix   phpbb3_5ag7k
use_post_based_groups    0
use_standard_groups   1
recovery_logon_failures   0

These look okay... i am using the attached file.

Thanks a lot... would be great if you can help me.

The phpbb3 bridge is a user contribution and goes unsupported. Read up the corresponding thread.
