[Solved]: Can you setup Coppermine on ISPConfig Server ?
« on: February 27, 2008, 12:44:57 am »

I just loaded ISPConfig on my new server, I have been using Coppermine on my old server for about 6 months, and it was very simple to use, but I am not sure I can setup Coppermine on my new server .... Has anyone setup Coppermine on ISPConfig ?  ... If so, HELP  ;D, I would love to use Coppermine again if I can.

Thanks Buger

I have never before heard of "ISPConfig", but I just googled for it. It appears to be a control panel app. Control panel app driven installs (auto-installers) suck! The only recommended (and supported) install method is the one we describe in our docs. Install coppermine the waqy it was meant to be installed. Don't go for a crutch, use the real thing. The reward is a system that is up-to-date and actually works. Additionally, it is dead-easy. Read the docs that come with coppermine (link available as well at the top of this screen).

Thanks For your reply, But some people dont have the option when they are using someone elses server, but just so you know, it works fine. Coppermine is compatible with ISPConfig if anyone wants to know !!
