Batch Add preferences

I was wondering if i can modify the batch add function to allow adding movies mainly from another server.

my forum server is loaded with features but only 300 mb of space, but i have a storage server with about a  gig of space, and i want to add my files from there.

after searching it seems that there is no answer for this

it looks like theres enough people looking for this feature,

more than likely i wouldn't be able to code one.

i think that if someone had the initiative to create a script add-on to do this, it would be appreciated by many.

the threads I was linking to all say: this is not possible. There's little point in asking someone to come up with a hack. You simpy can't have it, because it's not possible.
