Hiding sub categories?
« on: February 19, 2008, 04:38:14 pm »

i searched to see if this was possible, but i didnt come up with anything.

my site layout is Parent Category> Sub category> album> picture

i'd like to remove the Sub-categories from showing on the main gallery page.

example: you come to the gallery and see 2 categories "people" and "bands" Nothing else is on this main page. after you click on a category you get a list of SUB categories having the Band or People names. After clicking the SUB category, you get your album list.

is this possible? or do i have to change my code?

There's a config option for number of levels of categories to display.

You might want to post what you actually did to solve your issue for the benefit of others with similar issues... That's the point of a support board.
