get rid of gallery links
« on: April 02, 2004, 06:54:45 am »

Is there a way to not put on links to your different galleries? I would like to have separate galleries for something and not have them link to each other. Actually I would like to get rid of the links for people to be able to upload their own pictures, etc. Can you do that? I didn't know what to search to find out if someone has asked this before.

Will this still have the links on the main page though? I want the main directory page to list them all, but in each album not list it. Also, how do you get rid of the comment and rating boxes on each page where the pics are?

get rid of the comments and rating boxes by denying rating/comments to all user groups in group manager.

Thanks for all your help so far. I just have one more question. Is there a way to log out of the configuration without having the 'login' and 'log out' on the album page. I don't want to have any users or anything (anybody can see it) so I have no need for any links for those or to register. I took out the links but then i can't view the page as others see it without logging out.

One question per thread please!

Just deny user registration in coppermine config, and hide/remove the login link in theme.php. Leave the logout link alone, since you (as admin) will be the only one to ever see it.
