Resource Use Reduction (especially in batch add)
« on: January 16, 2008, 09:59:29 am »

ok! i recently made a partnership deal with my host, we have noticed a few issues...

#1 the gallery is a resource monster, especially for mysql. he is boggled why mysql does 2 "querys" every file.

#2 i was wondering if there is any plugin, mod, tweak, etc to help make batch add not such a terrible resource drain? this is when adding 50+ pictures in 1 go.

#3 and any information how to reduce resource use, without cutting out to many features, would be nice also :)

We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up. You have been told so before. Respect it in the future. Start new threads for your questions (after having searched the board for similar questions, as none of your questions is new) in separate threads, posting in each of them a link to your gallery as well.
