When displaying an image there is a section above the comments called file information. How can i stop certain information from being displayed - and also i want to add a my own buttons just below the image but i cannot find where in display.php

There is no file named display.php in coppermine - you are probably refering to displayimage.php. However, that's not the proper file to edit. You'll need to edit your custom theme (themes/yourtheme/theme.php). Your question has been asked very often, so please search the board for previous discussions on this. Additionally, read up the theme section of the docs that explains how the theme engine works. If you then still can't find what you're looking for, reply here again, posting a link to your gallery and attaching a zipped copy of your custom theme to your posting.
