Changing coppermine root to deeper folder
« on: January 05, 2008, 06:04:35 am »

Hi,

I was looking for answers on what is needed for this, but couldn't find it in the documentation.
I maintain a Copp. Gallery for someone, it is installed at http://somedomain.nl/
and now this someone wants to have something other in the domain root,
and the entire Copp. stuff to be under http://somedomain.nl/gallery/

I can just move the entire folder's content into that (new) folder,
but what else is necessary? Where and how do I best go about
changing names and such? And in what order?

Thanks in advance.

- Move all files and folders to new folder (gallery)
- Set URL of your coppermine gallery folder under General settings of gallery configuration to new url (http://somedomain.nl/gallery/)

And you are done !

Except, after having done this, the upload has stopped working.
Any idea why?

Check file permissions. If you can't get it working start a new thread in the upload section following the guide.
