'Powered by' position change?.
« on: January 09, 2008, 01:10:00 pm »

Hello there. Firs of all I'd like to know - do I have a premission to 'transport' copyright like on the picture. I want to do this change because of phpBB2 forum, where copyrights are on that place.
And if I can: 2 - how to do that change?

Well, and "sorry for my english"  ;)

Although this is of course technically possible, we won't tell, as the way "Powered by Coppermine" tag is being generated is being obfuscated to make it harder for non-coders to remove it. I understand that you're not about to remove it, but move it somewhere else, but telling you how to move it around would mean telling you (and others) how to get rid of it. That's something we won't do. Please leave the tag exactly where it is - use CSS to manipulate it to a certain extent. That's about as much as we're ready to tell you. Legally, you're not allowed to move or change the footer, as suggested in the docs. Discussion closed.

Thanks for info.
But imho that's the hard way. I've understood about copyrights, but thought it could be modified (with loss of support, maybe... or not - in my case).

Thanks again.
