want to add an adsense ad to my picture site

I am not a coder but I installed it and upgraded a few times etc. I need to know how to get adsense in to the the theme template as a text banner at the top and bottom. ie where should it be inserted.

Searching the board for the search term "adsense" would have told you this, as this has been asked many times over. In the future, please search before posting.

What threads did you take a look at? What doesn't work for you? Post a link to your gallery and the changes you applied if you want help instead of just posting a rant. >:(
