Joomla/CM bridge
« on: November 02, 2007, 02:11:07 am »

Ok everyone, this is an either or type question. I have Joomla and CM bridged and it is working fine. Except I want it to either take over the window completely, or I want it to pop up in a new window. Any ideas??

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and Joomla:
The window for CM kills my style sheet in Joomla.

Coppermine install: http://racingnet.org/joomla/CopperMine
Forum install: http://racingnet.org/joomla/SMF
Joomla Install: http://racingnet.org/joomla
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: SMF 1.1.4
Joomla Version: 1.0.13

Bridging as we understand it deals with logical integration of Coppermine and another app in terms of authentification and user management. It does not deal with visual integration, as this would require editing the application you're bridging coppermine with, which we're not familiar with. You better ask such questions on Joomla-related forums. Sorry.

Hi miketmotek,
First of all, in Joomla administration and from the menu item that you have the link to Coppermine (ie from the "mainmenu"), just set the link to open in a new window.
Secondly, from the "gallery/bridge" folder, rename the file joomla.integ.php to something else (ie joomla.integ.php.disabled).
All done!

That way, you can still maintain integration and have the gallery pop up in a new window, in its own template...

Hope this helped!
