Levels of Access
« on: March 24, 2004, 10:31:37 am »

Is it possible to give a user a level of access that enables them to
batch upload photographs to just one category? I don't want to give them full admin rights to add users and photos to ALL categories, but i do want them to be able to batch upload and edit photos to a designated categories.

Can I do it? If so how?

thanks
mike

Not exactly.  It is possible for any user, who uses windows XP, to upload multiple pics in one go at the moment, directly into an album they have permission for.  They cannot upload by ftp, which is what the batch upload facility uses.

To use the xp_upload facility, tell you users to browse to yoursite.com/your_cpg_directory/xp_publish.php and follow the instructions.
