Using a user theme

So i have already downloaded a user theme for the site, now I just wanted to know how do i get this to show on my gallery? and also I have my own banner i want to use and how do i put that in? will somebody please help me?? i would really appericate it!

put the user theme folder in your theme folder (on your server) the go to the admin page and select the theme
