Coppermine Gallery error
« on: October 18, 2007, 09:30:27 pm »

Hi!

I am having this error with my galleries. They used to work fine until a few weeks ago..

1. You have this thumbnail, middle pic and the final pic size. Somehow my middle pic isn't working anymore. A red cross appears.
This is how it looks like:
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/supernatural/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=39

or

http://www.homeofthenutty.com/heroes/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=5&pos=42

This is really annoying. Especially for my visitors, because they don't know the full size pic still works. I might as well like to add that some albums works fine and some doesn't. My intermediate and full sized images doesn't work with 1920x1080px caps. They used to work  ???
I tried to upload the single file method but it gave me an error message

2. What does this exactly means:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 12582912 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 7680 bytes) in /hermes/web05/b175/pow.homeofthenutty/htdocs/supernatural/screencaps/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 2 62

This can't be, because I have a lot of memory on my server. And I just checked it, I have used like 7% of the disk usage.

3.
Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: User annabella already has more than 'max_user_connections' active connections

We have different names for each coppermine gallery, how is this possible? I also asked my host, they said more than 1 person has logged into the same gallery with the username?

I hope anyone can help me. Thanks in advance  ;D :D

This has nothing to do with pnCPG, please check the other boards.

We have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up. Do so in the future.

1. You have this thumbnail, middle pic and the final pic size. Somehow my middle pic isn't working anymore. A red cross appears.
This is how it looks like:
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/supernatural/screencaps/displayimage.php?album=1&pos=39
http://www.homeofthenutty.com/supernatural/screencaps/displayimage.php?pos=-40 works as expected for me.

As the error indicates, this is not related to disk space, but memory (RAM) consumption. RTFM!

That's bullshit. If this has actually been your webhost's reply, then you better start looking for another webhost who understands the business. Not related to coppermine though, but webserver setup. You did the correct thing and asked your webhost, as only your webhost will be able to solve this. If they give you such an nidiotic and wrong answer, then they don't know how to operate a webserver.

As suggested above: we have a strict "One question per thread" policy that you broke. Additionally, you posted on the wrong board, as all of your issues are not related to pnCPG. Closing and locking this thread.
