Creation of thumbnails on import
« on: April 25, 2008, 12:37:06 am »

From what I can see when you import a picture a new image is created that is used as the thumbnail.  This is a problem from me because the images are stored in a RAID array on another machine and I dont want to grant write access to these folders.  Is there a way to disable this?  Or can the thumbnail be generated each time the web page is loaded.

Thanks

Without hacking the core code: no
