Where dose "thumbnails.php" check, if you are allowed to see the gallery?

authentification checking isn't done in individual files, but with functions defined in the includes, so you're question can't be answered in general. Please post a more detailed question like "I want to do foo when bar happens. What files/fucntions have to be edited?"...

I want to fix 2 Problems with this mod:
http://forum.coppermine-gallery.net/index.php?topic=3069

1. Check if you are allowed to see the picture
2. Change the URL of the "Category Picture" of my Gallery from "http://www.mydomain.co.uk/gallery/albums/album1/thumb_pic01.jpg" to "get_file.php?pid=...&size=cat"

I hope you can help me ;)
