Help bridging with SMF using Bridge Manager
« on: September 22, 2007, 09:54:56 pm »

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and SMF 1.1.3:
After filling out the UR and "relative config path" I get the following error - ../tpsite/Settings.php doesn't exist. Correct the value you entered for Relative path to your BBS's config file

Coppermine install: http://www.refusalcode.com/tpsite/
Forum install: http://www.refusalcode.com/tpsite/cpg1413
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.13
Forum version: SMF 1.1.3
Test user account: Will provide via PM

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.refusalcode.com/tpsite
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../tpsite/
Use post-based groups?:  N/A
Cookie name/preifx: N/A

../tpsite/ would mean http://www.refusalcode.com/tpsite/tpsite/ which is wrong.

You need http://www.refusalcode.com/tpsite/ so the relative path to use is just ../

Wow I feel stupid. That fixed it, you are God haha!

I just have one last tiny question!

For "post based groups" is it JUST based off posts? Cuz in SMF you have post based groups, but then custom groups as well. Does CPG consider post-based groups to be any group in SMF?

Thanks again for your help!

No, it actually means "custom groups from the forum". Tick that option.
