SMF 1.1.3
« on: September 20, 2007, 10:40:10 pm »

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and SMF:
I am logged in to the forums, but CopperMine says I'm not. I go to login and it says:  Hello CopperHead on the top. I have local cookie storage turned off. I tried reinstalling CopperMine a few times still getting the error.

Coppermine install: http://www.keithsieman.com/gallery
Forum install: http://www.keithsieman.com/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.13
Forum version: SMF 1.1.3
Test user account: AcctTest / 12345ABCDEF

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.keithsieman.com
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../
Use post-based groups?:  1
Cookie name/preifx (if applicable) SMF614

You have to use www. or it will give you a Forbidden Error for some reason.

Keith

PS This is a newer site (I finally actually started work on it after two years) which is why there really is no users

PSS Within the next few weeks the forum will be moved to /forums (Not sure if that mattered)

PSSS Sorry about that hijacked thread, I didn't think I would be (I always thought hijacking a thread meant posting a COMPLETELY different support question).

I don't know what you are playing about at with your www redirects, but if you enable subdomain independent cookies in SMF it will work both ways.

It didn't do anything, really.  :-[

(PS - Wow, that was a fast response)

Check that you cleared your cookies properly after making the change.
