postnuke anc CPG passwords
« on: September 19, 2007, 07:42:58 am »

Is there a way so that when people register that the postnuke password is also their CPG pass instead of it giving them a whole new password for CPG?

Well I found out how to get pnCPG to work without doing that.  I had to go into phpmyadmin and un-encript the password.  I must have missed that the first time around.  Would be nice though since coppermine does have an integration to have them integrate into postnuke too without the use of other modules like pncpg so that all passwords are the same and we don't need to "bridge" it this way.

Thanks!

Magetsw,

if you are using the latest stable release of PN (7.64) then you can use the same password for Postnuke and Coppermine( the first being the leading one). This is described in the readme of the pnCPG module.
If that is not clearly formulated, let me know.
