Mysql Denying after months of being ok..
« on: August 15, 2007, 11:49:47 pm »

when i now try to log in, i get this.

Coppermine critical error:
Unable to connect to database !

MySQL said: Access denied for user 'hentaiov_Scias'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

i went around, enabled debug, same crap.

i repaired the database, blah blah blah, "wont work" im confused why it just suddenly started doing this? i have not touched anything in mysql for weeks now... :/

The message means that the information in Coppermine's include/config.inc.php is no longer valid. You need to look at that and see why that login and password are no longer accepted by MySQL. If you can't see why then you need to contact your host as this is not a Coppermine issue.

I got the same problem.
I tried to edit the config.inc.php file. There is a wrong password set.
But i cant upload it on the server.
said "Premissions denied"... I wanted to change the CHMOD on 777, but i cant because there is the error "It may not support on the remote side."

Anyone idea?

Ask your webhost for support on issues related to FTP-uploads and permissions.
