Default username and passsword??
« on: August 23, 2007, 12:33:38 pm »

Im trying to bridge phbb2 with cm1.4.2 But mustve made a config error, heres what its askin for:

Quote
Bridge Manager: emergency recovery
If you came here to administer the BBS integration of your Coppermine gallery, you have to log in first as admin. If you can not log in because bridging doesn't work as expected, you can disable BBS integration with this page. Entering your username and password will not log you in, it will only disable BBS integration. Refer to the documentation for details.

My login details wont work, and ive forgotten the default user and password, where can I find this??

Heres my config too:

Coppermine install: http://www.freexxxhunters.com/all           //Warning not work safe/////
Forum install: http://www.freexxxhunters.com/forum
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: phpBB 2.0.15
Test user account: username: team member -  pass: ldmjtc

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.freexxxhunters.com/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  1
Cookie name/preifx: phpbb2mysql

If you can login (autologin) go to your profil and see your username. Check your email adress and logout.
On the login page click on the "I forgot my password" and a new will be sendt by email.

If you cannot login, but can remember your username and you have entered a valid email in Coppermine go to the login page click on the "I forgot my password" and a new will be sendt by email.

Otherwise you can get your member info from the database.

Thanks but that wont help this time , im only able to access:

http://www.freexxxhunters.com/all/bridgemgr.php

All the other pages say:

Table 'db49forum5.cpg1411_albums' doesn't exist

So ive messed it up a bit.

The user name from phpadmin wont help either , apparently ive gotta enter the original user and pass

Lookup your original details in phpmyadmin. This was asked and answered only yesterday, so search the board.

I went to phpadmin but only has my current login and pass

when i try to login it gives me this:

You supplied the wrong credentials. You will have to supply the admin account data of the standalone version (usually the account you set up during Coppermine install).

That was not a bright solution. I'm not posting this to put you down, but for the sake of others with similar issues. It's pretty easy to recover from failed bridging, and it's easy to recover a lost password. Much easier than starting all over.
