How can I avoid users always being in admin mode?
« on: August 14, 2007, 10:25:31 pm »

Hi,

Since some time when a user logs in the gallery displays a message that it switches into admin mode and a reduced version of the admin menu is displayed that allows the user to create albums and upload pictures.

Actually i initially configured that users cannot do any uploads but it seems that at some point I changed something and now they can. Unfortunately I cannot find any option to change this anymore?

Could anybody please help me to prevent users from uploading pictures and thus have no admin menu displayed to them?

Thanks a lot, regards, Robert

Set the permissions you want on the groups page.

Helped, thanks a lot. Sorry for a maybe stupid question, but somehow I remembered a general setting for enabling disabling in the general settings and desperately searched that page up and down without finding anything.

See you, Robert
