Hello.

How can I allow registered users to be able to edit pictures and add / modify /fill fields to help me ?

I do  not want to change the ownership of pictures through phpmyadmin because then I cannot help the new owner to fill these fields.
I do not want them to be able to suppress my pictures by mistake. (Or to change there category)

I suppose I have to suppress some code in a script somewhere, but I do not know where.

If I can do this, Coppermine will be very useful for me: my project is to collect all pictures from my family and make a hudge database.
It's already 43 Gb heavy and works great; sql database is above 10 Mb; it will grow, but I'm not afraid as I know people use databases up to 7 Gb ( of course, I changed parameters in my phpconfig)

The only black part of coppermine is to add pictures via ftp or mass import features: I've got so many files that apache needs about 4 minutes to scan folders and then I can process pictures.
To avoid waiting such long times, I just add my new folders but move all the others outside albums directory. I process files and then I move back all folders in albums directory. This is not so friendly.

Take a look at the moderator mods.

Take a look at the mass import plugin.

Keep in mind that we have a strict "one question per thread" policy that you agreed to respect when signing up. Yours are actually two questions if I'm not mistaken.
