overwriting pictures?
« on: March 15, 2004, 12:54:27 am »

Hi,

Is there any way to allow overwrite of pictures after uploads?  Say, if u already have picture.jpg in your album and would like to replace this picture with another of the same name so would just need to upload the new picture.jpg to replace that existing one, is this possible?  Thanx.  :)

overwrite is not possible, but you can delete and upload again (this will of course count as new pic, so all all comments and votes will be lost). The only option you (as gallery admin) have is to delete the file by ftp and re-upload the new file to the server by ftp. Remember that you'll have to use the resize tool to make the necessary changes to inetermediate and thumbnail.
