registered users to create public albums
« on: July 20, 2007, 07:29:57 am »

Hello.

Yes tried searching. If it is a repost then feel free to link

I have coppermine on a site for my friends and I and they are the only ones who access the site. No unregistered user can get into the gallery at all.

I want the users to be able to create albums in categories that appear on the home page. I have read this is not possible. I think it should be.

Has anyone had any success in doing this without giving access to the ACP?

Thanks in advance

Bryan

That is correct - it is currently not possible.

I think it should be.
There currently are efforts by the developers to allow this, however it's not easy to accomplish due to the application's design.

For the benefit of others with similar questions you should have posted what you did or what posting you find. To others, your thread may look as if it was possible. It isn't. You can only have found a thread (one of the many ones, as your question has been asked over and over already) that says so.
Marking as "solved" anyway.
