I hope it's the good place to post this question...

I was an user of Coppermine since 2005 with 2 website, always with the first version installed.

For many reasons, I must move the both on one bigger server... then I choose 1and1 (don't know if it's the better choice but many friends council me this one)...

So, I've decided to install the latest version of Coppermine of course, but I've some problems to import the database... the first question I have is to know if the database generate with a 1.33 version of Coppermine is good with the 1.412 ? of if it's only because I make some mistake.

Easiest way is to copy the old gallery over then update it as normal. If you want to 'import' the db into a 1.4 gallery then do so and run update.php.
