Renaming files "sequentally"....
« on: March 17, 2004, 12:08:00 am »

Is there a mod that'll let me rename my files in this way...

UPLOADED FILE NAME -> RENAME TO
=============================
 abcdgfh.jpg -> myname_1.jpg
 gayyyiw72.jpg -> myname_2.jpg
 frtyo.jpg -> myname_3.jpg

Is there??

Thanks  :D

take a look at the resize pictures tool in the admin menu - maybe that's what you're looking for.
There is no point in renaming pics on the server, do so on the client before upload if you must (there are loads of free batch-renamers). There's little point in doing what you request anyway: coppermine keeps track of pictures (and their names), why should the human?
