cpg install after postnuke
« on: July 03, 2007, 12:48:07 am »

Hi all,

My first post here and been fighting with postnuke all weekend. Can't get it to see coppermine and it is causing errors. Have to go into phpmyadmin and make a fix. I installed pn from my cPanel and is a .7xx version with a Xanthia theme. I then installed cpg from cPanel as well, into a coppermine folder in public_html. I have been frustrated and also dragged the cpg folder into modules. In pn I did a regen and initialized the module but if I make it active my site crashes. Here is the line:
oppermine   Coppermine       Coppermine   0    Inactive where the zero is the version number. So something is wrong.

Now I did find login.php in my coppermine folder and made a category, batch upload. So Coppermine does work.

So shoudl I delete both coppermine folders, and the database and do a fresh install to ____? Straight into modules for pn?

Hi everyone,

Deleted my postnuke site. Too much work for a simple site.
Will just integrate Coppermine to my existing.
Thanks to all that took a look.

Sorry to hear that Postnuke appeared  to be such a pain, normally is not the case.
Good luck with a standalone Coppermine ,you still have a great gallery!
