After Moving Bridge
« on: June 24, 2007, 04:25:05 pm »

I had a SMF installation and Coppermine installatino on a different server. I moved them both to the current server and attempted to integrate them. However the bridge manager still had the SMF link pointing to the old location. How could I fix that?

Not untill you do as suggested! Sticky thread on this very sub-board: When requesting bridge support - mandatory!
"Mandatory" means "you must do this". If you don't. nobody can/will help you.

EH, this information is not really relevant, but I'll try!

Coppermine install: http://www.mysite.com/gallery/index.php
Forum install: http://mysite.com/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.10
Forum version: SMF 1.1.3

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://thetotallywrongurl.com/forums
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forums/ <---totally wrong as well
Use post-based groups?:  0

The question is, where can I edit the bridge manager settings so that it can be right. Thanks

Disable the bridge using the bridge manager and then re-enable it with the new settings.
