Hello.

I wonder if it is possible to add one or two more fields for file descriptions? I have "activated" the four possibilities given in the gallery, but would like the opportunity to add more ig possible.

This might perhaps be a non-coppermine question (?), I'm really not sure about those things. But hopefully someone will be kind enough to help me after all - even if the question is kind of "border-line" for the forum?

Very sorry, when looking into the english version I noticed that I actually ask for the wrong settings.
What I mean to ask for is how to add fields in the image description. Sorry.....

This is where I woluld like the poosibility to add fields:

Custom fields for image description (leave blank if unused)

Not my intention to "dump", but since I'm not able to find any kind of edit-possibility I see no other way to correct myself.....:

I have read about "hacks" and know this might be a possibility. But if it is possible I really would like not to install a hack. I thought it might be possible to edit something already existing in gallrys' files in order to activate a few more fields? Oh...by the way: The new fields must be implemented in the search option. That's actually the main purpose of adding them.

I have seen that thread - and said to myself; "no way I will go into this!" It seems to be both diffiquelt and unsure? I simply do not feel that I'm competent to go into such a issue - being afraid to loose something in the gallery or messing up things I do not understand how to fix again.

Suppose there is no other way to add a extra (or two) fields then?

There is a mod to add more user profile fields (Additional Custom Fields), but there is no mod to add more image description fields afaik.
