How can I add a button that displays the actual link to the photo?  example: a button that goes to http://www.mysite.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/picture.jpg, but goes to the specific picture on that page.

I'm not sure i described this well.

Have a look at the bbcode plugin. It displays the URL to the fullsized pic below the intermediate image. You can modify it to show a button instead of a textarea (html knowledge required).
