password protected albums

Hello,

I have a problem with password protected albums. If i set any password albums still can be viewed by everyone :-\ Script never asking for password, it is just not working... My coppermine works with polish language and i cant switch to english... when i set english nothing happens.. All language files are on server..

What's wrong?

Sorry, but im not the best @ english :-[

Post a deep link to an album that is suppossed to be password-protected and the corresponding password. Keep in mind that the password (once entered by a user) is being stored in a cookie, so the user doesn't have to enter it another time. Remember as well that the admin is not being forced to enter the password at all (the admin can do anything he pleases), so you'll have to make sure to test this as a guest or non-admin user. To test, use another browser or clear your cookies.

i checked it on IE and FF, on both browsers i logged in as normal user (not admin in user mode) but still i can view "protected" album.

Please post a screenshot of the album properties screen of that album (attach it to your posting using "Additional Options" when composing your message).

In Coppermine's config, you shouldn't have set "Albums can be private" to "no". Turn it back to "yes" and you should be fine.

ok, i think it is working, but this album disappeared for normal user (logged and not logged in)... How to get in this album?
