Yes: this has indeed been asked very often. I'm reluctant to explain it in detail. Edit themes/yourtheme/theme.php, find
Code: [Select]
// Display the full size image
function theme_display_fullsize_pic()
and edit the stuff beneath it as suggested below. If this piece of code doesn't exist in your custom theme, copy
Code: [Select]
// Display the full size image
function theme_display_fullsize_pic()
{
    global $CONFIG, $THEME_DIR, $ALBUM_SET;
    global $lang_errors, $lang_fullsize_popup, $lang_charset;

    if (isset($_GET['picfile']))
    {
        if (!GALLERY_ADMIN_MODE) cpg_die(ERROR, $lang_errors['access_denied'], __FILE__, __LINE__);

    $picfile = $_GET['picfile'];
    $picname = $CONFIG['fullpath'] . $picfile;
    $imagesize = @getimagesize($picname);
    $imagedata = array('name' => $picfile, 'path' => path2url($picname), 'geometry' => $imagesize[3]);
    }
    elseif (isset($_GET['pid']))
    {
    $pid = (int)$_GET['pid'];
    $sql = "SELECT * " . "FROM {$CONFIG['TABLE_PICTURES']} " . "WHERE pid='$pid' $ALBUM_SET";
    $result = cpg_db_query($sql);

    if (!mysql_num_rows($result)) cpg_die(ERROR, $lang_errors['non_exist_ap'], __FILE__, __LINE__);

    $row = mysql_fetch_array($result);
    $pic_url = get_pic_url($row, 'fullsize');
    $geom = 'width="' . $row['pwidth'] . '" height="' . $row['pheight'] . '"';
    $imagedata = array('name' => $row['filename'], 'path' => $pic_url, 'geometry' => $geom);
    }

from themes/sample/theme.php into a new line before
Code: [Select]
?>of themes/yourtheme/theme.php.

To add the Adsense code, add it as you see fit in the HTML section of above mentioned code.

In your particular case, you'll have to circumvent another issue: the window size of the full-size pic is being calculated based on the dimensions of the pic. Therefor, if you add content to the window, you'll have to make sure that the dimensions of the window increase by the space the advert "eats up". The dimensions of the window are being calculated in the function
Code: [Select]
// Displays a picture
function theme_html_picture()
The same method used above applies: search your custom theme (themes/yourtheme/theme.php) for that function definition. If it exists there, edit it as suggested below. If it doesn't, copy the function defintion
Code: [Select]
// Displays a picture
function theme_html_picture()
{

from themes/sample/theme.php into a new line before

The piece of code that actually needs editing is
Code: [Select]
            $winsizeX = $CURRENT_PIC_DATA['pwidth']+5;  //the +'s are the mysterious FF and IE paddings
            $winsizeY = $CURRENT_PIC_DATA['pheight']+3; //the +'s are the mysterious FF and IE paddings
Edit it as you see fit - you will have to increase the variable's value by the amount of space (in pixels) that your ads need. As an example: if you decide to add your adsense code at the top of the full-size pop-up and it eats up 200 pixels, change
Code: [Select]
            $winsizeX = $CURRENT_PIC_DATA['pwidth']+5;  //the +'s are the mysterious FF and IE paddings
            $winsizeY = $CURRENT_PIC_DATA['pheight']+3; //the +'s are the mysterious FF and IE paddings
to
Code: [Select]
            $winsizeX = $CURRENT_PIC_DATA['pwidth']+5;  //the +'s are the mysterious FF and IE paddings
            $winsizeY = $CURRENT_PIC_DATA['pheight']+203; //the +'s are the mysterious FF and IE paddings

HTH

Joachim

P.S. I'm pretty sure that I have explained this before in detail already, so in the future, please search before posting, as it is very time-consuming to explain this again and again.

Depends where your ads are supposed to show up. Don't try to hijack someone else's thread, but start a thread of your own that contains a link to your gallery and a descirption where exactly the ads are supposed to show. Locking.
