Hi!

I am new to CopperMine Photo Galleries!

But please help me out here!

This is the URL to the gallery:

The users are able to upload only to albums created by themselves ( Under User Galleries ). How do i optimize it so that users will be able to upload to the other albums that i have created under the different categories?? And how do i customize in such a way users are able to create albums in other categories other than user galleries!!

Set upload permissions on the groups page and in album properties. Users cannot create albums in public categories.

Oh! But users wil be able to upload to public albums right?? Even though they arent allowed to create public albums??

Hi,

I am still not able to do it!

This is the normal procedure for uploading files right? :

1) I click on "Upload File" and follow the on screen procedure.....
2) Then i select the album in which i should place it.......


Right?? Cause none of the other albums come under the drop down menu other than the album that the user had created under the user galleries...........

Or is there a different way to upload to other albums??

Same way. As I said, you need to set upload permissions in the album properties of the album before you can upload to it.

But is this the correct way a user uploads?? Goes to "Upload file" and then selects the album and uploads??

Will all the albums from all the different categories be present in the drop down menu???

No, only the albums you specify.
