Sorry there is no album where you are allowed to upload files

Yes, upon researching this problem I see it has been beaten to death and for that, I am sorry.  I am still having problems with it.  I have read over the documentation several times and did the steps included...I think maybe my problem exists in this whole album properties dialog...I do not see album properties or a button for such?

You are using 1.4.10, not 1.4.1.

The reason you can't find the album properties button is that you appear to have removed 'alblist' from the 'content of the main page' setting in config. If you put that back then view the category containing the album you will find the album properties button.

Oops, I put it back in there.  Any idea now?  It's still not working, I still don't see the album properties button.  Maybe I'm blind...

Nevermind - I see now that users need to create their own user album before being able to upload.  Is there any way to automate this?
