No admin login or password

My Hosting company installed Coppermine on my site.  they did not give me the admin username and password they used to install the software.  how do I go into the database and change the login and password?

The admin password for CPG and the password for the mysql database are very often not the same. And if they did not give you the admin password for your CPG i would begin to doubt their level of service. Where are you hosted ?

I would also check what version of the software they have installed. I know of on host that up until last month were installing version 1.3

Don't use the GoDaddy pre-made installs - there are many known issues with it. Install coppermine as suggested in the documentation instead. If you don't want to do so, contact your webhost godaddy to retrieve the admin password - that's not our business (the password is not being stored in plain-text, but only as a MD5-hash, so there's no easy method to retrieve it).
