Cookie issues – Bridged with Coppermine
« on: April 23, 2007, 10:41:44 am »

Please tell me if am missing something.

I have Coppermine 1.4.10 bridged with SMF 1.1.2 forum and TinyPortal 09.9.8. I have different cookie settings for Coppermine and SMF. I can log into the system fine, this is done using the SMF part of the script however when moving between SMF and Coppermine my users and I am not then logged into Coppermine. This is not always the case but it happens most of the time. So I guess it's not saving the session? Obviously this is a real problem and I am loosing members as a result. Clearing cookies works for a while until you close your browser and go back to the site again. All scripts are on the same domain.

Can anyone advise me?

Your forum is setting cookies on /web2/forum/ so they can't be read by Coppermine. Disable local storage of cookies in SMF.
