phpbb2 and cpg bridge not working
« on: April 13, 2007, 06:39:41 am »

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and phpbb2:
[../forum/config.php doesn't exist. Correct the value you entered for Relative path to your BBS's config file]

Coppermine install: http://mysite.tld/my_coppermine_folder/
Forum install: http://mysite.tld/my_forum_folder/
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: PHPBB v2.0.16
Test user account: testaccount / testaccount
BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.cwal.org/forum
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forum/
Use post-based groups?:  0
Cookie name/preifx (phpbb2mysql)

Fact: the error is wrong. No doubt there is a problem of some sort but... The file is there, the board can't run without it and the board runs, as well, logging into the ftp and looking verifies that file, 'config.php' is there, in the precise location specified in the relative path info.

I don't seem to be able to edit my previous post to make some corrections but I think I may be a retard. I'm trying to bridge across a main domain and subdomain.  My apologies.     and Now I'm off to brute force this into working.
